Every Bosley Medical New York patient is assigned a Hair Restoration Counselor who will provide general information about the hair transplantation procedure, typical range of cost, and financing options. Your counselor will be with you every step of the way as you meet your Bosley Medical physician, schedule your procedure, and undertake your hair restoration. You may call or email your counselor at any time: he or she is your advisor, guide, and follow up contact. Because they have complete confidence in Bosley Medical, many of our counselors have enjoyed the benefits of hair restoration. In addition, some were patients prior to joining the company. |
Jeannine Acca
Jeannine, a Bosley New York patient herself, personally understands how hair restoration can impact your self-esteem. She started thinning at 25 -- "the most traumatic experience anyone will ever have to overcome." With her newfound confidence, she now enjoys counseling patients about this life-changing experience. "My hair stress had been keeping me from living and being who I really was. A hair transplant was the best thing I ever did for myself!"

Marc Hodes
Marc has a BBA in Marketing from Pace University and has spent many significant years working at several global advertising agencies. Early in his 20 year career, while at Grey Worldwide, Marc was instrumental in the advertising transition of Rogaine from prescription to over-the-counter. Marc not only understands hair loss from a business standpoint but also from a personal perspective, having suffered from hair loss himself. Bosley provided Marc with the hair loss solution he needed, and after achieving great results from the procedure, he wanted to be in a position where he can share his experience and help others dealing with hair loss.
For the last 4 years Marc has enjoyed working as a Senior Counselor at Bosley New York sharing his extensive knowledge with prospective patients about hair loss and all available treatment options, especially hair transplantation. Marc sees a sense of duty, with his position, to help patients feel comfortable throughout the hair restoration process. "There is no better feeling than helping people feel better about themselves," he adds.

Amir Wellner
Amir is originally from Israel and grew up in the Philadelphia area. He graduated from the University Of South Florida with a degree in Finance. Upon graduating, Amir began his professional career in the mortgage industry, until the bubble burst steered him to a new career path. Amir ended up spending a few years living in Israel working in advertising sales.
Upon returning to the USA, Amir never imagined he would be working in the hair restoration industry, much less for Bosley- the largest hair restoration brand in the industry. As someone who has been battling hair loss for the past 10 years, Amir is admittedly a "hair guy" and the hair restoration industry feels like the right place for him to be. He believes his experience provides invaluable insight to his daily dealing with patients. It gives him satisfaction in his work to know that he has a hand in helping fellow hair loss patients restore what (hair) they once had.

Raven Avery
Raven was born and raised bi-coastal in San Francisco, California and New York. She studied Theater and Film in California, before pursuing a career in Technology and Staffing, where she's been in for the last ten years. Wanting a change in field and scenery, Raven came to Bosley, the world's largest hair restoration practice, where she's been helping patients with hair loss since early 2012.
"I love what I do because I get to help patients overcome their hair loss and provide them guidance to reach their restoration goals. As a counselor, I am usually one of the first people these patients see when they come in to Bosley, so I have the rewarding job of determining if hair transplantation makes cosmetic sense for them or if we need to explore other available treatment options. Hair loss can affect an individual's lifestyle and self-image and it gives me such satisfaction to see how hair restoration could have (and had) changed my patients' lives in a positive way." Raven believes seeing patients' ecstatic reactions at their results is the most gratifying part of her job."
When not working, Raven enjoys outdoor sports such as running marathons and swimming.
